ProCast 950 is a highly formulated, polycarboxylate based High Range Water Reducer that improves the workability and physical properties of wet cast concrete. ProCast 950 is formulated to meet the performance requirements of ASTM C494 Type F.

Guidelines for Use

Dosage Rate: ProCast 950 recommended dosage rate will vary depending on the desired benefits. Dosage range is 2 – 12 fl.oz/cwt (130 - 780 mL/kg) of cementitious materials, with typical dosage rates for conventional slump concrete at 2 - 8 fl.oz/cwt (130 - 520 mL/kg). For high slump flow SCC, up to 12 fl.oz/cwt (780 mL/100kg) dosage rate may be required.

Due to variations in local materials, production conditions or applications, dosage outside the recommended range may be required. Please consult with your Technical Services Representative for more information. 

Compatibility: ProCast 950 is compatible with most admixtures including air entrainers, water reducers, retarders, accelerators, and viscosity modifying admixtures. Do not use ProCast 950 with admixtures containing naphthalene or melamine sulfonate as negative effects on slump and workability may result. 

Product Storage and Shelf Life

Freeze Protection: ProCast 950 must be protected from freezing. Do not store at temperatures below 40°F (5°C). The admixture is not usable after it has frozen. 

Shelf life: One year in original unopened container.
