Description

ColorScape WS-1 applied inline on the wet side during paver manufacture. It is a component of the ColorScape® EverBold® System to improve the optical properties of concrete pavers with deeper, richer color hues and improved color fastness.

Features & Benefits

ColorScape WS-1 is applied inline on the wet side during the manufacturing process and is cured into the paver surface.
Deeper, richer color hues especially reds and charcoals.
Sustained color fastness over time.
Improves resistance to acid rain.
Highly recommended for pavers that mimic natural stone variegation, pattern designs and commercial or architectural projects.
Resistant to light and moderate abrasion from foot traffic.
Applied inline during manufacturing process to ensure quality application. Protection is in place before the pavers reach the jobsite.

Guidelines for Use

Application Rate: ColorScape WS-1 coverage rate will vary depending on the quality of the paver surface and the desired benefits. Coverage range is 50 sq.ft/gal. to 200 sq.ft/gal... Due to variations in local materials, paver absorption and project requirements, coverage rates outside the recommended range may be required. Please consult with your Technical Services Representative for more information.

Recommended Application Method: ColorScape WS-1 is applied inline on the wet side with specialized equipment during the paver manufacturing process.

ColorScape EverBold System: ColorScape WS-1 is only recommended for use with ColorScape integral admixtures.

Product Storage and Shelf Life

Freeze Protection: ColorScape WS-1 must be protected from freezing. Do not store at temperatures below 32°F (0°C). The admixture is not usable after it has frozen.

Shelf life: One year in original unopened container.
